The Galleries made it an eggs-tra special Easter for local charity

This Easter we donated 100 chocolate eggs to the Storehouse Project, a charity which works across the communities of Wigan and Leigh to support people in crisis.

The organisation, which regularly operates a pop-up shop in the shopping centre, collects food, clothing, furniture and household items from members of the community and delivers them to people in need of support. Run by mixture of staff and volunteers, the Storehouse Project relies on public donations to help individuals and families in the area who are vulnerable.

Victoria Nichol, Centre Manager said: “We’re so pleased to have helped such a worthwhile charity that not only means a lot to the Centre but also to the community. We’re proud of all the work they do and are delighted we could help spread a little Easter happiness.”

Julie Smith, Centre Manager of The Storehouse Project added: “We can’t thank The Galleries enough for donating the Easter eggs, it was a very thoughtful contribution that our clients really appreciated, especially those with young children.”
